James S. Fitzella joined the Downey McGrath Group, Inc. as an Associate in March, 2011. James assists DMG’s staff and clients with legislative research, special projects, client servicing and advocacy.
James joined DMG after
interning with the firm in the
summer of 2010. As an intern,
he attended and reported on
committee hearings, performed
various research projects for
the firm's clients,
facilitated meetings on
Capitol Hill, and assisted
with daily administrative
duties. |

James graduated from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia in May of 2010, where he earned a BS degree in Business Administration. While at Mary Washington, James was a member of the men's varsity lacrosse team. James is a native of the Washington, DC area. James’ leadership qualities and interest in a wide range of federal government and public policy issues are a great asset to Downey McGrath’s clients. |
